Thank you for this touching documentary. This shows the human face of war. As Americans, we owe the Iraquis so much more than the incomplete healing of one small boy. I am so sorry that I have been complicit in his suffering and the horrors that so many more have endured.

I just accepted a new job at Children’s Hospital. I was wondering if I made the right decision to go there, so I checked the website and found this story. Now, I have no doubts that this is where God meant for me to go, to work in research to help others.

Thank you for such a touching documentary..
I never knew the story of Abdul Hakim..but now he is in my heart.. mashaAllah he is such a brave boy and those people who helped him were amazing..may God reward all of them..

Humanizing stories are rare, but always moving. One wonders why they are not as widely circulated as the stories and news and even rumors about demented dealers with hatred and terror. Thanks Paula.
