    Thank you for this touching documentary. This shows the human face of war. As Americans, we owe the Iraquis so much more than the incomplete healing of one small boy. I am so sorry that I have been complicit in his suffering and the horrors that so many more have endured.

    I just accepted a new job at Children’s Hospital. I was wondering if I made the right decision to go there, so I checked the website and found this story. Now, I have no doubts that this is where God meant for me to go, to work in research to help others.

    I never knew the story of Abdul Hakim..but now he is in my heart.. mashaAllah he is such a brave boy and those people who helped him were amazing..may God reward all of them..
