I was down in Mississippi with Tilghman Builders from 8/14/06-8/18/06, this was the most rewarding weeks of my life. i have never felt so proud to be doing something in my life. These people have no homes and have no idea when or if they ever will have a home again. To be able to help 3 famlies get back into their homes, to see the happiness on there face and the tears they shed from the joy of seeing their home almost there is the most rewarding experiance i have ever felt. i do plan on going back and getting some more homes done. They just don’t have enough people helping. For what they have or actually don’t have i do not think giving yourself up for a week or two is to much to ask. We have homes to sleep in they don’t. I do really encourage anyone and everyone to try and put some time in, if it was you wouldn’t you want the help.
